The Chainsmokers Plan to Change their Tune in 2018

The Chainsmokers is a musical group comprised of two talented men, namely Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. In late January of 2018, the group was invited to perform at an event being held at the Conrad New York hotel in New York City. They performed their musical hits for the Hilton and American Express function being held at the Conrad.

The group has been a regular on the list of top 10 hits since 2015. The Chainsmokers had a hit with their single entitled “Roses.” It was then followed by another top 10 hit for the group, this one entitled “Paris.” Their songs are appealing to music lovers in many age groups, including the mainstream pop music fans. The songs of the musical duo have frequently remained in the top 10 on Billboard’s top 100 U.S. hits list for many weeks in a row, sometimes even months in a row. For instance, when pop stars Alex and Drew came out with “Closer,” the song was tremendously popular and it remained on the charts for 12 weeks.

The song released by The Chainsmokers soon after “Roses,” entitled “Don’t Let Me Down,” won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. Additionally, the group’s first song to hit number 1 on the Billboard Chart was “Closer.” Alex and Drew of The Chainsmokers seemed to be releasing hit after hit.

It’s been several months since The Chainsmokers have come out with a new song. They were asked about that in an interview earlier this year. The duo said they will soon release a more serious, darker sounding song entitled “Sick Boy.” Their songs, they explained, will reflect a more grown up side of them, in terms of as artists and as individuals. The Chainsmokers will be releasing a series of songs with their updated tone.

The two artists have been making music together as The Chainsmokers since 2012.
